Alliance Francaise de Madras is set to host an Indo-French music program, “Strings Together” in Chennai on April 27.

Organized as part of the fourth edition of the Bonjour India Festival, the event will be held at the Alliance Française de Madras Auditorium in the city at 6:45 p.m.

Admission to the event is free.

INDO-FRENCH MUSIC EVENT

Created in 1953, the Alliance Française de Madras is a non-profit Franco-Indian association based in Chennai, working to promote cultural relations between India and France.

A majestic fusion of kora, guitar and tabla, the Alliance Française has invited famous kora players from Mali.

Chérif Soumano, as well as Shahnawaz Ahmed, a classical guitarist, and Shahbaaz Khan, a traditional Indian tabla player will perform at the event.
